In a recent study entitled The First Baby Study (Levett KM et al, Birth 2024;00:1-11), it listed what women would like to have known about first childbirth. The following issues were raised. (These can also apply to subsequent births).
· Tell me my options (lack of communication)
· My body and the implications of interventions on my body
· Managing normal physiology
· My birth
· Breastfeeding information
· Beyond Birth, emotionally and physically
All these issues are covered in my live Antenatal classes on-line. You will have adequate time to discuss and ask questions. I provide rounded, informative sessions which cover what to expect and highlights your choices. You can only make these choices once you have been fully informed of the positives and negatives of each pathway to birth.
